Distribution centre Sulaymania

All newspapers have problems with distribution. On the one hand they only have a number of shops where they are sold, and transport problems make it impossible to get them to the smaller, far away places on the same day.

Job Muller and Frans Robert Buerman, arrived in Sulaymania on December 11, in order to be of help in making a plan for setting up a joint distribution system. They will have meetings with the editors-in-chief of four different newspapers.

KDP women training

Gregor Niessen ,an expert on capacity building for political parties and NGO ’s started on March 15 a 5-day training for 24 women from the Kurdish Democratic Party ( KDP . The other days he will train together with Sabina Gazic , member of the Amsterdam City Council. They will make the women more aware of the political process and encourage them to strive to reach top positions within the KDP . They will talk with them about how to get this more visible role and how to get trough the ceiling.
