Info graphics on the second level

For those who already have a basic knowledge on making info graphics for TV, international trainer Ceasare Schuit started a five day training at the mediacentre in Sulaymania. Participants are from different TV stations in Iraqi Kurdistan. They will be taught how to better use the combination of different softwares to make info graphics for TV.


Ceasare Schuit is a TV designer specialized in making info graphics, who works for different clients in the Netherlands.

Information graphics become more effective when they are designed with different levels of information, allowing readers to understand the main message quickly while also exploring additional details. A second level of information can include supporting facts, categories, explanations, or subdivisions that expand on the primary message without overwhelming the viewer.

Clear typography, spacing, colour, labels, and visual organization are important for keeping these levels easy to follow. Start training for Iraqi Journalists on Ethnic and Religious minorities.

In order to raise awareness among journalists of the importance of minorities in Iraq and Kurdistan, IMCK has started its first (out of three) workshop(s) on minorities in Iraq. Journalist, writer and trainer Sa’ad Salloum opens the first session by introducing the journalists to the different topics that are related to the rich diversity that can be found in Iraq's ethnic, cultural and religious landscape.  Most of the participant are, besides journalist, belonging to a minority group themselves. At this first day, Sa'ad  has lectured on, inter alia, the complexities and problems of  minorities in Iraq, minorities rights in Iraqi law and the possible implications of the International Human Rights Declaration. >IMCK likes to thank the British Foreign & Common Wealth Office and the British Embassy in Iraq for funding this workshop<
